Puppy Farm Awareness Day

Today Saturday 19th September was World Puppy Farm Awareness Day (known as Puppy Mill Awareness Day in North America).  Events have been taking place all over the world, one of the most notable being the World’s Biggest Puppy Party in Brighton.

Dairmuid – the man behind K9 Friends United – was in Grafton Street in Dublin for an awareness event where he met people from all over the country.

We would also like to say a big thanks to the Irish News and Mid-Ulster Mail who both pulished articles based on our press release to raise awareness of puppy farming.

There’s still a lot of work to be done before it’s gone, but today is an important milestone in the fight against the industrial-scale cruelty of puppy farms.
